Introducing the Katikati Spiritualist Centre

The Katikati Spiritualist Centre meets at the Katikati Community Centre the first Sunday of the month from 1pm-2pm and everyone is welcome to come along.

Annie Rae started the Spiritualist Centre two years ago and she says her aim was to invite different guest speakers who would bring different aspects of Spirituality to the meetings.

Annie says some the highlights so far have included;

Jeff Clarkson (composer/musician) from Auckland playing some of his meditation/relaxation music.

Meet the Mediums last year with 85 people attending. “This year we limited it to 75 due to space and chair numbers. Each time we’ve had five mediums on the panel, giving messages,” says Annie.

“We are having a healing event coming up in November where different modalities will be available for people to try – getting a short ’taste’ of a particular healing. If required they can make an appointment for a private full-length session.

“Ginny Jones -healer, reader, artist gave an extraordinary talk which included singing in tongues, a talent given to her from other worlds. She is due to give another talk in September taking about ‘spooky’ stuff!

“Rob Haywood from Tokoroa brought his beautiful singing bowls along and allowed all of us to try them out and Gavin Knight from Tauranga was the guest speaker in August telling us all about Druidry,” says Annie. “There have been so many wonderful, magical speakers it’s hard to pick out a few!”

Upcoming speakers include:

September - Ginny Jones

October -Derrell Walker, Reflexology

November – The healing event
